Smokey is a striking smoky black Quarter Horse stallion with a pedigree built on proven performance bloodlines and generations of quality.

His sire, Days of Gold (Q-57273), is a multi-titled champion and one of Australia’s leading influences in dilute performance horse breeding, with an impressive record including over 30 national titles.

On the dam side, Smokin Heart is out of Hearts On Fire, a mare by the legendary Millbrook Vapour Trail — an AAA Quarter Runner and influential sire of successful performance horses.

While his pedigree and colour genetics are impressive, what truly sets Smokey apart is his exceptional nature. We selected him not only for his conformation, athleticism and pedigree, but for the qualities that matter most in a breeding stallion — a willing attitude, a kind temperament and the ability to pass those traits on to his offspring.

Introducing Timbarraview Acres Tribute 

At Timbarra View Quarter Horses, we believe great breeding programs are built on purpose, passion, and a clear vision for the future. To complement our Quarter Horse breeding program, we made the decision to introduce an Australian Stock Horse stallion and a select group of mares that aligned with our breeding goals.

When searching for the right stallion, we wanted a horse that combined proven performance bloodlines with the temperament and trainability that we value so highly. Timbarraview Acres Tribute (Ace) is exactly that.

Ace is by Willdraft Tribute, a son of the legendary Warrenbri Omega — a Warwick Gold Cup winner and a proven sire of outstanding campdraft horses. His dam, Eatons Dimples Destiny, is by the great Acres Destiny and out of Bald Hills Dimples, tracing back to Star Black Minstrel, adding further depth and proven Australian Stock Horse heritage to his pedigree.

Our goal was to produce foals with the ability, athleticism, and toughness required for campdrafting, while never compromising on temperament and trainability. Ace continues to deliver on that vision. His progeny have consistently shown quality, natural ability, willingness to learn, and the kind of sensible temperaments that make them enjoyable to train and compete.
