Our dream atop Mount Drury
After leaving the coastal region of New South Wales, we built our dream home atop Mount Drury, a trig point named after the land's original European title holder. From 870 metres above sea level, we are fortunate to enjoy expansive views across the Billirimba Valley and the Timbarra Plateau, the landscape after which our property takes its name.

A landscape forged by nature
The Timbarra Plateau is a remarkable feature of the region. Once part of the valley floor, it was uplifted by seismic activity along the Demon Fault Line, creating the prominent landmark it is today. While the views from our mountain home are breathtaking, the terrain on our property offers something equally valuable for our horses. The steep terrain naturally develops strength, balance, muscle, and sure-footedness.

Echoes of a golden past
During the late 1800s and early 1900s, the plateau was home to several gold mining settlements, with pioneers drawn to the area in search of their fortunes. This rich history adds another layer of intrigue to our magnificent property. We invite you to experience the awe-inspiring views and the unique environment that makes Timbarra View Quarter Horses and Australian Stock Horse Stud truly special.
